Please register in advance for these projects by calling or e-mailing the SHTA office by the Thursday before the project so Ken has an idea of how many people to count on. Phone is 218-834-2700 and email is hike@shta.org
*Duluth Maintenance Work Projects Larry Sampson is continuing as our Duluth Trail Maintenance Supervisor this year. Larry has several projects planned this year such as putting in small re-routes, adding steps to steep trail sections, and adding water bars to parts of the trail for erosion control. Larry has a small group of dedicated volunteers who help him out with projects. But he would like to increase his numbers of volunteers. If you would like to be on Larry’s volunteer email list, please email him at LBSampson@msn.com. Larry will add you to his list and then send out announcements of when he plans to do projects. You can then sign up with him for projects to help out with.
