National Trails Day
Linking people with nature by footpath along Lake Superior's North Shore.
2010 National Trails Day, Saturday June 5th
Each June, trail groups across the country celebrate National Trails Day. The day is organized by the American Hiking Society to celebrate America's trails, their supporters and volunteers. This year's theme "Find Your Happy Place" encourages all Americans to get outside to experience and appreciate the outdoor places that make us happy. SHTA will hold events on Saturday, June 5th to mark National Trails Day.
